It seems like I’ve had issues with my weight for my entire life. Like a lot of people, I have lost weight only to gain it right back when I stopped dieting and resumed my old habits. Unfortunately, I would feel guilty when I started gaining weight again, which would make me depressed, and I would console myself by eating which caused even more guilt. It’s a nasty circle that ended in obesity.
It has taken me awhile to end that cycle, and I’ve learned a lot about living healthy in that time. You really don’t have to give up the things you love, you just have to learn to limit yourself. Of course, if you haven’t the willpower to limit yourself, then you may end up having to give up one or two things to get to the weight you desire.
And I completely understand the challenges involved with that. I had to make the decision to completely give up a couple of my favorite things to eat. So I understand where sometimes you just have to say “No More” and “Never Again.”
Hopefully, the knowledge that I’ve gained from my own personal “Battle of the Bulge”, will help you to achieve and maintain the weight you desire.
